Nintendo Switch Pre-Orders Start

Hey ya’ll welcome back to my computers and electronics blog. I found a piece of news earlier that I thought was interesting and wanted to share it with you all. Nintendo’s new console is set to start taking pre-orders in New York City early January, according to a spokesperson from the Japanese gaming company. This is some ridiculously short notice for a console that was only announced last fall and has had nintendo fans drooling over it ever since. The announcement was also fairly vague, stating that there could only be a limited amount of pre-orders while supplies last, something that is usually not an issue with pre-orders. Nintendo also offered no information about pricing or how to place the pre-order. As of right now, the only way to find out about the pre-order situation is by waiting in line on Friday.

We thankfully know quite a bit about this new console from Nintendo because of some helpful leaks, and the launch video which was decoded fairly well by fans. The console is intended to be used on the go, as well as hooked up to a television set. There is supposedly a large amount of accessories to be offered for the Switch as well, with company Hori having a leak of their large array of products. We also know that the console will have a non removable battery which is strange considering the on-the-go capabilities. A certain leak also revealed that the new Zelda game; Breath of the Wild will be among the first releases. This should excite many Nintendo and Zelda fans alike, who have been clamoring for a new Zelda game. If you want to see more about this new console, be sure to check out Nintendo’s release on Thursday that will be streamable on Nintendo’s Twitch, Youtube and the official Switch site.
